Investigators are working to identify a man killed in a mobile home fire on Golden Acres Drive early Wednesday morning.

The mobile home was engulfed in flames when a neighbor called 911 after 3 a.m. Wednesday.

Firefighters from Tuscaloosa Fire and Rescue Service and the Duncanville Volunteer Fire Department responded to the fire, just off Hargrove Road East past Woodland Forest subdivision.

Capt. Loyd Baker, commander of the Tuscaloosa County Metro Homicide Unit, said that a 62-year-old man lived in the mobile home. Investigators from the Alabama Fire Marshal’s office are still trying to determine the cause of the fire, which Baker said appeared to be accidental.
